Fast Drinks was launched in April 2005 for the development of the concept 2GO SHC (Self-Heating Can). Starting with the initial idea of producing a coffee beverage we went further to develop this idea creating a new solution with self-heating containers.
To develop this concept, we have invested 3 years in R & D and are now currently selling these self-heating beverages in Spain, France, Great Britain, Scandinavia, USA and Japan.

Did you know that the steel that’s used in making our containers is 100% recyclable?
The steel is recycled along with the CaOH2 (calcium hydroxide) that’s used as another component in our container to create the heat reaction. In addition, the plastic used to make our labels is also an added combustible used to fuel the reaction, making the materials found in 2GO 100% recyclable.
Our packaging containers contribute to the reduction of CO2.
The CaOH2 component in our cans combines itself with the CO2 found in the atmosphere to form Calcium Carbonate and Water, reducing the very gas that’s known to be one of the main players in the greenhouse effect.
Technology
Many companies have developed self-heating products… some were too complex, others not very safe, and others too expensive… Until finally Fast Drinks 2GO arrived on the market, an efficient product for the following reasons: the container is entirely sterile; heats a 200 ml drink in 3 minutes time, and continues to keep the drink hot for 20 minutes. Furthermore, the basic components used to make the container allow for a balanced Price-Quality Ratio.
The system consists of three compartments that are separated within the can: the first is the packaged beverage; the second, calcium hydroxide; and in the third, water. Once the calcium hydroxide is dissolved within the water, it generates, in just 3 minutes, a large amount of heat (up to 40 degrees Celsius, 104ºF), which heats the beverage that is located in the first compartment of the can and allows for it to remain hot for up to 20 minutes.
